Piecing Small Scraps of Interfacing to Make a Larger Piece
What do you do with those small pieces of interfacing that are too tiny to use in most projects? I tend to shove them into a bag, and hope that one day I'll make something small enough to make them useful. At some point the bag of scrap interfacing gets so large, I bin the lot. Not any more...

How to Make Serviettes from Fabric

It's not hard to find lovely paper serviettes (napkins) to compliment your table decor. Problem is, they are single use only, and, small as they are, don't help the environment. I'm down to half a packet of paper serviettes and once they're gone, it'll be be serviettes from fabric for my guests. Today's tutorial will show you just how easy they are to make.

Denim jeans - we all wear them, from toddlers to adults. The styles and colours may vary, but they've been a fashion statement since the 60s. Whether they be work clothes or dress jeans, eventually the denim will give. You repair them once, maybe several more times, but sooner or later they'll leave the wardrobe and head to the repurposing pile.

Denim Shirt Cushion

There's no point in doing something unless you do it well. That's how I normally approach things, and at times I can be a bit of a perfectionist. However, to apply that approach to everything in my life, even to all my sewing, would cause me to be a total stress head. Ha, ha.. my family would say stress head describes me to a tee!
