Showcasing ~ Upcycled Denim Peg Bag ~ Tutorial

Whether you call them clothes pins or pegs, a container to put them in is a must. Grab a pair of denim jeans and make a bag that's not only sturdy, but drains quickly, enabling it to be kept outside, no matter what the weather.

Upcycle a pair of jeans and make a clothes pin bag (peg bag). Tutorial by Libby's Lifestyle

Libby, from Libby's Lifestyle, shows how to make an Upcycled Denim Peg Bag that is manly, sturdy, durable and tough. Shade cloth forms the base of the bag, allowing rain to quickly drain through and enabling pegs to dry, which helps to extend the life of a peg bag kept outside.

Libby added her peg bag to the Denim Refashioning link party and also to our 12 Days of Christmas Challenges Gifts from Denim Jeans link party. You might like to check out the following links at the Denim Refashioning linky...

  2. My clothespins reside in an ugly plastic lidded container, which is currently stored in the garage for winter :) This is a cute way to use up some jeans scraps, and would be equally useful for gardening tools or other summery items :)

  3. I could definitely do with one of these my previous peg bag was left behind in the move so I have been making do with a shoe bag, but this would be a much better option. I have never come across shade cloth before I wonder if it is called something else in the UK?
