A super cool idea, added to the Softies, Dolls & Toys link party...
Dry Erase Colouring Placemat ~ Tutorial by Deby, from So Sew Easy
Deby has just released a new pattern... Sew Simple Leggings for real women. The free tutorial to draft your own is still available, but I've just bought the pattern tonight. At only $2.95, I'd rather have Deby do all the hard work! Now I just need to find the time to make them.
A stunning quilt, added to the Quilting & Patchwork link party...
The New Zealand Bird Quilt by Juliet, from Tartankiwi
Juliet designed all the New Zealand bird blocks herself. If you are into Foundation Paper Piecing, a visit to Tartankiwi is a must. If you've never done any paper piecing, you just might change your mind after seeing all the designs available, many of them free. My second ever paper piecing project was testing one of Juliet's patterns.
A rarely sewn garment, added to the Menswear link party.
I Made Underwear by Ashley, from Ever Green Living
Great job, Ashley, successfully sewing a garment most of us have never attempted!!! This is only the ninth project added to the Menswear collection. We don't seem to sew much for the men in our lives!
An awesome tote bag, added to the Bags & Totes link party. This is a very clever way to upcycle a pair of trousers and a tea towel.
Tetris Tote Bag Tutorial by Julia, from Sum of their Stories
A very flattering tunic, added to the Dresses for Women link party...
Peplum Zippered Tunic by Diya, from The Hobby Harbor
Diya hosts the Sew Book Inspired ongoing link party; a link party specifically for projects sewn using a sewing book.
A great pair of pants, added to the Shorts, Pants, Leggings & Trousers link party, the Boys' Clothes link party and the Sewing with Stretch Fabric link party. This looks like one of those good staple patterns.
Basic Knit Pants and Shorts by Amy, from Sews N Bows
And an adorable dress, added to the Dresses for Girls link party...
Gracie Dress Tutorial by Lindsay, from PA Country Crafts
Lindsay made five dresses for Easter, each of them made from a vintage sheet. This is the fourth tutorial of those five dresses.
This week's featured blog is So Sew Easy. Deby, look out for your blog button in my sidebar.
Feel free to grab a button if you've been featured...
Don't forget, all of our link parties are ONGOING and will remain open indefinitely. You can add links to any party at any time.
