I'm guessing the vast majority of you are parents, or hope one day to be one. It's a very special role!!! Whatever their age, as parents, we all want to do the very best for our children, to be close to them and to have strong, enduring relationships.
Today, I'm guest posting over at While she was sleeping, in the lead up to Jenya's You & Me series. The series is all about celebrating the art of sewing and the art of building relationships with our little (and not so little) people throughout different ages and stages of their lives. I'm sharing a few of my thoughts and showing a few projects sewn over the years.
... Pam
Thank you for your beautiful post Pam :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post, Pam! You haven't changed much over the years....still beautiful!:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post, Pam! I enjoyed seeing all the photos. Reading how sewing strengthened the bonds between you and your children encourages me to keep sewing, because sometimes I wonder if I should be doing something else rather than sewing.
ReplyDeleteLoved that post Pam, you expressed my thoughts so well.
ReplyDeleteI just came back from reading your post. I guess every parent relates, even if our kids are still so young as mine. One of my biggest fears is not being able to "connect" with my kids, so I keep trying to do the best I can.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post, Pam! I hope I am making some memories with my girls when I sew for them and with them.
ReplyDeleteNice to read your story full of such lovely pics of past memories Pa :)
