Baby Present...
I've just put together a package for a new, little baby girl born to a friend. I almost always give a book as part of a baby present. Perhaps it's the teacher in me coming out. What better to package the gift in, than a little bag which can be used later on to carry books.
Add some extra baby goods, pop them all in the bag and the present is ready to give. The little people in our family use these bags for books, shopping and generally carting their things in. Here's a link to the tutorial to make this little bag.

Such a cute idea! One of my friends just found out she is having a girl (in June) and I am gathering ideas for a gift for her. I am pinning this!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet. Awesome idea!
ReplyDeletevery cute! my standard baby gift is a birdie sling bag (since moms need big purses) filled with baby books. :)
ReplyDeletegreat idea! Books are always a great gift. A child can never have too many books. :-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous idea Pam. I love giving books too - (1) because it is so good to read to kids from the very beginning and (2) because I know how tiring it can get having to read the same book over and over and over and over - a big collection is a must! I'm sure she will love this present for many years to come (and, honestly, how many baby gifts can say that?).
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
ReplyDeletethis is so cute, my son loves to put things in bags and carry them around, take them out, put them back in! Great idea! Thanks for linking up to Eat, Grow, Sew!
