Anytime I am tempted to take up dressmaking the price of paper patterns puts paid to that idea. Free patterns are a great idea to help scratch that dressmaking itch :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with Fiona --- and fabric itself has gotten tremendously expensive as well - we sure do need to be careful shoppers :D I'm trying to imagine what it would have been like for me as a mom, if 25-30 years ago I had had girls instead of boys, and if the internet had been around. I think I'd be an expert at ruffles, sun bonnets and tutus! :)
ReplyDeleteI used several from CINO over the years! Violette Field Threads has a new free one I am itching to sew up!! Thanks again for including me!!
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Pam!
ReplyDeleteFree tutorials and patterns are great...without them, I never would have picked up sewing and gotten hooked! ;) I have since found some patterns are well worth paying for, but still love free patterns. I think half of my creations were made using free patterns. And I'm thinking of trying out another free tutorial I saw in your link party! :D
