Little girls' skirts are one of the easiest garment projects to tackle. The fit is forgiving, thanks to the elastic waist that many are made with and the length is easy to adapt. Today I'm sharing twenty eight awesome tutorials from the Skirts for Girls collection, here at Threading My Way. Each tutorial contains step by step detailed instructions, with lots of photos, showing how you can make a skirt for a little girl in your life.
The projects range in difficulty, from easy gathered skirts, to more complicated ones with scallops and lots of girlie ruffles. Several of the skirts have been refashioned from pre-loved clothing.

Thanks so much for including my maxi skirt refashion! It has now been passed down to her younger sister who calls it her "maximi" skirt. :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmmmmmmmmm there are several in there that I would actually wear myself, especially the ones with a scalloped hem and the ones that button up (the last one in particular) :D I also would - I'm not ashamed to admit it - wear anything that had the word PUFFLE in the name ... just so I could use the word PUFFLE all day long :)
ReplyDeleteThey all look so great!! Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Pam! Your parties are THE place for inspirations!
