The weekly features are usually chosen from the last week's additions, so maybe you can use the Featured posts as a reminder to check the parties you are interested in.
We don't celebrate Halloween in Australia, to the extent that it is celebrated in other parts of the world. I haven't personally come across anyone celebrating Halloween in Australia, but I read and see online that it is beginning to take off here. It does look like it's a lot of fun! Don't forget to add any Halloween costumes you've made to the Pretend Dress Up Clothes link party.
Our features for this week...
An ever so pretty dress, linked to the Dresses for Girls link party. You can't go wrong with polka dots (I love them) and combined with the fabric flower, this 50's style dress will never go out of fashion.

Look at the gorgeous fabric combinations in this lovely skirt, which was a team effort; fabric chosen by the daughter and sewn by her mother, linked to the Skirts for Girls link party.

These cute, little pocket purses, linked to the Refashioning with Denim link party, ensure that nothing on a pair of jeans goes to waste.

There were 13 fabulous new bags added to the Bags and Totes link party this week, which now has 278 bags and totes linked up... a huge resource of ideas, tutorials and inspiration. This was the first Threading YOUR Way with Threading My Way link party and is the most popular, with almost 7000 views. Two awesome bags that I would be proud to own...

Bella Bag by Maria, from Mia's Creations
14 informative posts were added to the Sewing Tips and Techniques link party, during the week. Most of these were from a site that is new to me: ChrisW Designs. If you are in to bag making, Christine's site is well worth a visit.
Don't think posts linked to the Sewing Tips and Techniques link party have to be complicated or difficult to be added. One of my blogging friends wrote a post on The Trouble With Zips, but thought it was so simple that everyone would probably already know how. Turns out this has been one of Ros' most popular posts. LOTS of people hadn't discovered how to flawlessly sew zips into pouches. It was new to me!
I would encourage you to add any tips that are helpful to you. Don't think everyone will already know your tip. Someone, maybe lots of people, are waiting to hear a tip that will help with their sewing. It could be as simple as how you organise your sewing area or handy sewing tools you can't live without.
This awesome tip shows how to correctly insert magnetic snaps.

Look at this gorgeous bag for a special occasion, linked to the Purses, Clutches and Pouches link party.
Wedding Clutch by Ana, from Ana Love Craft
And last, but definitely not least, this adorable bedding tutorial that could be adapted for any type of doll, linked to both the Dolls Clothes and the Softies, Dolls and Toys link parties. Sometimes a post fits into two categories. If this is the case, feel free to add it to more than one link party. What little girl wouldn't LOVE to play with this.
