Denim Fabric Basket...

Grab an old shirt and a pre-loved pair of jeans to make a FABRIC BASKET ~ Threading My Way

Here's another little denim fabric basket, made using the denim fabric basket tutorial. The denim is part of the leg of a pair of my old jeans and the lining is from a pre-loved shirt belonging to one of my sons.

The tutorial gives instructions to make denim baskets in three sizes and I've made the small basket, which ends up being 4" x 4" x 4". You can vary the measurements to suit the jeans you have on hand. Play with the measurements to make baskets in different sizes.

This little basket contained gifts for Christmas and was given to the son who originally owned the shirt. After he had finished with it, I used it as a gardening shirt and now a piece of it is returning home.

    1. Thanks. I put sewing bits and pieces in the first denim baskets I made... tape measure, needle case, unpicker, etc.
