Our features for this week...
The two most viewed Embroidery, Stitching and Appliqué posts both featured hearts:
- Heart Potholder Tutorial by Deana, from Country Momma Cooks. Deana shows how to make potholders that can be used as Valentines Day cards. How cool is that?
- Heart Shaped Reverse Appliqué by Tanya, from Craft Couture by T.C. Tanya paper pieced this beautiful heart, hand stitched it using reverse appliqué and then made it into a beaut bag. You can see the tutorials for the bag here and here.
And two awesome hand embroidered appliqué projects. I have only appliquéd by machine. One day I'd like to learn to hand appliqué like these two ladies.
- Remade Pants and Train T-shirt, by Kay from Jerry and Kay
- My Favorite Things by Cherise, from Sewingly Along
A terrific tutorial showing how to do the Maths to make a Scallop Skirt:
- Scallop Skirt by Nisabell, from Nisabell Necessary
A sweet, little dress made from two pre-loved t-shirts. You know how I love refashions!
Head on over and visit these talented ladies.
- Old Shirt to Little Dress by Jessica, from Sunny Stitching
And two ever so pretty little dresses.
- Purple T-shirt Dress by Casey, from Simple Joy Crafting
- Pretty Birdie Reversible Pinafore by Cass, from Cass Can Sew
Head on over and visit these talented ladies.
Each week, I will place a blog button, belonging to the blog which was most viewed, in my sidebar. This week, there was a tie for the most viewed link: Heart Potholder Tutorial and Heart Shaped Reverse Appliqué. Deana and Tanya, look out for your blog buttons in my sidebar.
Feel free to grab a button if you've been featured...
