It's not hard to find girls' skirt tutorials online. Many of them, however, don't include measurements for specific sizes and ages. That's fine if the child is at hand. Grab a tape measure and all is good. If the skirt is going to be donated for charity, or the little one is not around, a sizing chart is necessary.
Cheryl, from Simply Shoeboxes, has created a skirt sizing chart, with all the measurements needed to fit girls aged from 2 - 14 years of age. Measurements for five different lengths are included - above knee, at knee, below knee, mid-calf and ankle.
Cheryl added her skirt sizing chart to the Girls' Skirts link party. You might like to check out the following tutorials at the Girls' Skirts linky...

Thanks, Pam, for showcasing my skirt sizing chart. I hope it helps others as much as it has helped me. And thanks again for your ongoing linkies and making them so easy to find--I refer to them often.

ReplyDeleteAnother great resource Pam
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the skirt sizing chart that Cheryl created! It’s such a valuable resource, especially for those of us who want to donate skirts or create them for kids who aren't around to measure. Having those specific measurements for different ages makes it so much easier to ensure a good fit. If you're looking for additional resources, I found a great site where you can check out more options: glitzbets bonus. This could be a fun way to explore new sewing projects or even get some creative ideas for refashioning! It's amazing how many tutorials and tips are available online these days. Happy sewing from Germany!
