As Threading My Way is read by people all around the world, I thought I'd showcase some of my favourite costumes from our Costumes & Pretend Dress Up Clothes link party. Some of them have been sewn specifically for Halloween, whilst others have been worn at birthday parties, special occasions or just made for the dress up box.

Seems like readers have added more girl costumes, but definitely lots of ideas and inspiration.
At the moment, there are 85 projects added to the Costumes & Pretend Dress Up Clothes link party. If you've made a Halloween costume, a character dress up outfit or clothes for the dress up box, I'd love you to add them to the collection here at Threading My Way.
Do you celebrate Halloween and is it a big thing in your corner of the world?

Thanks so much, Pam! This year I am doing a peacock, an Elsa, an American Girl doll, and we still have one undecided. Fortunately, my 3yo has a new obsession with Sleeping Beauty and I made one of those about 5 years ago. I have to keep hiding it because she wants to wear it every. single. day. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for featuring my Ninja costume :) This year an orange power ranger has been requested...!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting my superhero capes - the kids that got them, LOVED them, so I'm happy :) I love seeing superhero or traditional boy designs, decked out for little girls - I wonder if I would have thought of that if I had had girls - I hope so!
ReplyDeleteSandra :)
P.S. I'm pretty sure I'd wear Amy's princess dress myself :D
Thank you so much for featuring my little Anna! And it is the very first one on the list too :) Those costumes are all great...I love seeing the amazing creations and kids having fun!
ReplyDeleteCute outfits. I have discovered Halloween costumes do great for dress up for girls & boys. The talent shown here is so inspiring. Ladies you are great!
