Threading Your Way ~ Features

The festive season is fast approaching, so I thought I'd feature cards and gift tags added to the Gift Wrapping link party. Most of these fabulous ideas are easy to make and use materials you probably already have at hand. Handmade cards really personalise a gift and make it extra special.

Have you started wrapping gifts yet? I'm nowhere near ready. I'm hoping to make most of my presents this year, and I'm way behind schedule. I'd better get a move on.

Here's a super quick tutorial for a sewn Christmas card that I made last year...

And another one with ric rac added...

This week's featured blog is Sewing Barefoot. Shannon, look out for your blog button in my sidebar.

Feel free to grab a button if you've been featured...

  4. I got a few gifts mailed that were going out of country, but the ones withinin Canada and the ones that will be delivere in person are all on my dining room table waiting to be wrapped :D I bought some cardstock today to make some kind of tag, so the timing of this post is perfect - thanks!

  5. Couldn't agree more, a gift with tag is more precious. Own handmade ones are so sincere.
