Showcasing ~ Dad's Barn Quilt Block ~ Tutorial

Many quilts from long ago were made with old pieces of clothing, instead of new fabric like we use today. Today's showcased tutorial is an example of upcycling men's button down shirts into a quilt.

Joy, from Joy's Jots, Shots & Whatnots, shows how to sew a Design as You Go Dad's Barn Quilt Block, made with men's shirts. Of course you could use any fabrics. The block is an example of improv (improvisation) - making it up as you go along, without the need to measure. The step by step photo tutorial demonstrates the process.
