Showcasing ~ Quilted Christmas Wreath Pillow Cover ~ Tutorial

Today's showcased tutorial will help you get organised early for Christmas. I know, the festive season seems so far away, but every year it comes around faster than I would like. Planning ahead is the key!!!

Learn how to make a quilted Christmas wreath pillow / cushion cover. Tutorial by Super Mom No Cape!

Susan, from Super Mom No Cape!, shows how to make a Quilted Christmas Wreath Pillow Cover. The detailed tutorial, complete with embroidery pattern, will step you through:
  • piecing the front of the pillow cover
  • embroidering the centre design
  • basting the quilt sandwich
  • quilting the front of the pillow cover
  • sewing the pillow cover

Whether you call them pillows, or cushions as we do in Australia, this would be a lovely addition to your Christmas decor, or would make a lovely gift.

The Quilted Christmas Wreath Pillow Cover is the first in a series of four tutorials - Sew Early for Christmas. Watch out for my tutorial on Monday.

Susan's quilted Christmas wreath pillow cover was added to the Pillows & Cushions link party. You might like to check out the following tutorials at the Pillows & Cushions linky...
  • Neck Roll Pillow
  • Felted Sweater Pillow
  • Luggage Tag Pillows
  • Shirt Cushion
  • Flanged Pillow

Do you pace yourself throughout the year with Christmas sewing, or do you end up sewing at the eleventh hour?
