Here in Australia, we celebrate Christmas in the middle of Summer. There's not a hint of snow anywhere in the country. And yet, we still have snowflake ornaments and decorations. Today's showcased project is one of the cutest snowflake ornaments I have ever seen.
Stephanie, from Swoodson Says, shows how to make an embroidered snowflake ornament. Using a simple backstitch on wool felt, this is a great project for someone who is new to embroidery. Sequins and seed beads finish off the snowflake beautifully. The detailed tutorial, complete with free downloadable pattern, will step you through the process of making your own 6" snowflake ornament.
As well as the snowflake ornament tutorial, there are links to over 100 Christmas ornament tutorials.
Stephanie added her snowflake ornament to the Embroidery, Stitching & Appliqué link party. You might like to check out the following tutorials at the Embroidery, Stitching & Appliqué linky...
