This little set seems to be my go to baby gift... a tiny skirt and a small tote bag. This is the second set I've made in a month. The last baby set was made with red polka dots.
- Psychedelic by Sue Penn for Camelot Cotton... the two floral fabrics
- Sevenberry Polka Dot fabric
The small bag is made using the Little Shopper Tote tutorial. I didn't want to waste some small, left over scraps of the floral fabrics, so I pieced them together to make the front. The final size is the same as in the tutorial.
To finish off the gift, I've added a bib. I was thrilled to find one that matches EXACTLY.
The back of the bag is the polka dots, the same as the lining. As you can see, the sun is shining in some of the photos. I've found a good spot in the garden for taking photos, but I have to get up early to beat the sun.
And here's the bag, complete with skirt and bib popped inside. The skirt fits perfectly inside the bag, without the need to fold it.
This little set will be joining the 200+ projects in the Baby Clothes and Accessories collection here on Threading My Way.
