Don't throw out your old jeans when they become too worn to wear, or they no longer fit. Repurpose or upcycle them and make yourself a new bag, for next to no cost at all.
Jill, from Creating My Way to Success, shows how to make a Denim Triangle Bag, with several different colours of denim fabric. One side of the shoulder bag is designed with small, equilateral triangles, while the other side features a stunning, impossible triangle. There's a handy zippered pocket inside and the top closes securely with a zip, keeping the contents safe and sound.
Jill added her denim triangle bag to both the Denim Refashioning and the Bags & Totes link parties. There's a few new links you may like to check out in the Bags & Totes linky...

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you called that triangle block an impossible triangle - I kept looking at it thinking ... hunh? How did she ... am I seeing this right ... is it ... hunH? I thought maybe some partial seams - it just seemed ... impossible! Pretty, though!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous bag. I'm chopping my way through several pairs of jeans at the moment to make a bag in the cathedral windows style, new addiction! How could anyone throw out a pair?!
