A trip to the beach means carrying a myriad of things - towels, sunscreen, clothes, toys... The list goes on, especially if you have kids. What better to put everything in than a bag made from towel.
Petro, from Creative Homemaking, shows how easy it is to make a Large Beach Bag from a Towel. The tutorial gives instructions for a super quick unlined bag, as well as the lined bag shown in the photo. Use a new towel, or repurpose an old one.
Petro added her cute bag to the Bags & Totes link party. There's a few new links you may like to check out in the Bags & Totes link party...

That is a great looking beach tote, Pam. The blue color is a great one for a beach bag. Petro's tutorialis very good too.
ReplyDeleteSmart idea Pam, and we even have the weather for a beach trip for a change :)
ReplyDeleteI really like this one, I'm not sure I've got any good candidates for this amongst my towels, they're either too worn out or too essential as towels so I think this could be another thing to look out for thrifting!
