QAYG Zippered Pouch

A quick post today to show you a zippered pouch made as a Christmas present last year. You would be forgiven for thinking I showed you this bag last November, but it is, in fact, one I haven't previously posted about.

QAYG Zippered Pouch ~ Threading My Way

I made a bunch of QAYG zippered pouches in November, and decided to keep one for myself - the one that looks almost identical to this one. The rest were either sold, or given away.

Little Miss saw mine and asked a lot of questions, indicating she'd like one for herself - just like mine. Well, how could I refuse. Flattery (if it's sewing related) gets you a long way in my world.

I made this little bag using my Quilt As You Go Fabric tutorial. All the details for making up the pouch are in that tutorial. So we won't get them confused, I did the lining and zipper in different colours, and of course, filled the bag with other little presents.

It was an absolute joy for me to watch Little Miss unwrap her presents. The delight on her face was obvious when she saw her little bag. She beamed as she said... You made this for me. It's just like yours.

  1. It is so nice when people appreciate your sewing, isn't it? These bags are on my list this year because I need to make sets for my girls (and possibly guys)for traveling. I love the different sized travel bags I made for myself and think they all will like them as well. Now If I could just get that list done that Sewing Muse Sandra suggested for keeping track of my gift sewing, I would be all set!
