21 sewing accessories - projects that would be perfect to make for someone who sews. Most of them are quick and easy makes ~ Threading My Way

Is there even such a word as sewist? I expect the correct word is sewer, but I refuse to be called by a term which also denotes waste water pipes. And not all sewists are seamstresses. So, for the purposes of today's post, sewist it is. I would value your thoughts on this.

All projects have been chosen from the Sewing Accessories link party, here at Threading My Way.

I could do with a few of these accessories myself, especially the pattern weights. They'd be much better than my sticky tape holder!!!

  1. I love every idea. I am SEW inspired today!

And thanks for the feature-feature! :-)

    Hugs and happy weekend,

  2. Some fantastic gift ideas here and lots of inspiration for practical things I can make for myself :)

  3. I use sewist as I am definitely not a seamstress but it feels like a made up word to me so I never feel that comfortable using it. Can't come up with a better one though Pam.

    Great roundup!

  4. SEW many great projects - would keep one busy for a long time! Thanks for sharing.

  5. I'm the only sewer here, but I am more than willing to my a gift for me! There are more than a few I'd like.

What a pleasant surprise to see my kit there! Someone commented on my blog with an idea for fixing my problem sewing vinyl as a result of clicking your link to the post on the kit. Thanks for that, too.

  6. Thank you for featuring our triangle pincushion! There are lots of projects we would like to try, thank you for the inspiration.
P.S. Sewer is rather horrid, so we agree on the Sewist (much more pretty!).

  7. Thank you Pam! So many lovely ideas! :)

  8. Thank you for including my Mini Keeper on this fun and functional list! What a bunch of wonderful projects. I hope to make many of them in 2015 !
    I , too , like "sewist".

  9. Great round up Pam - I'm thinking of making myself some of these! :)
