Earlier this year, I saw my first Triple Zip Pouch, over at Celtic Thistle Stitches and not long afterwards another at Passion et Couture. I loved them both: the paisley fabric in Fiona's and the embroidery in Marisa's. The design with the three zips really appealed to me. I missed the sew-along, but have had it on my To Do list ever since, so when Erin posted about a Triple Zip Pouch Swap she was joining, I just had to sign up, too.
Everyone is following the Triple Zip Pouch tutorial written by Debbie, from A Quilter's Table. It's a great tutorial and very easy to follow, except for the finishing steps, where Debbie found it hard to take photos of the process. I'm a visual person, so I needed to be able to see the process. Marci, from Marci Girl Designs, has written a Triple Zip Pouch - Alternative Ending, which shows a different way to finish off the pouch and includes photos.
My triple zip pouch, complete with a few goodies inside, will start its journey with Australia Post, when they open in the morning. I know it's the 16th and this was supposed to be sent by the 15th, but for most of you, it's still the 15th, so I'm counting this as being sent on time. I hope you like it, partner.
My thanks to Stephanie, from Quarter Incher for organising the secret swap and all the work that a swap entails.
I'll be adding this triple zip pouch to the 100+ projects already added to the Purses, Pouches & Clutches link part, here at Threading My Way.
