30 Minute Shorts...

This pair of shorts was a baby gift for a little boy, made using the 30 Minute Shorts pattern, purchased from Create HOPE Designs

I've sewn shorts with the 30 Minute Shorts pattern several times now, so that speaks for itself. It's a very quick and easy make. They won't fit him for a while, though, as I've made a size 1. This time, I've teamed the shorts with a t-shirt, appliquéd by my daughter, over at Little Ladybird.

I often make the gift wrapping part of the present and this time both the shorts and t-shirt were popped into a little bag, made using the Little Shopper Tote tutorial. For decorative purposes only, I've added a little scrappy bow. When he's older, the new little one will be able to use the bag as a small library / book bag or as his own little shopping bag. I put a little note in the bag, to say that the scrappy bow is not meant to stay on the bag and is not suitable for the child.

I'll be adding the shorts to the Children's Pants & Shorts link party and the little bag to the Gift Wrapping link party, here at Threading My Way.
