21 sewing accessories - projects that would be perfect to make for someone who sews. Most of them are quick and easy makes ~ Threading My Way

Is there even such a word as sewist? I expect the correct word is sewer, but I refuse to be called by a term which also denotes waste water pipes. And not all sewists are seamstresses. So, for the purposes of today's post, sewist it is. I would value your thoughts on this.

All projects have been chosen from the Sewing Accessories link party, here at Threading My Way.

Or how about a small hamper, one or two of the above in a fabric basket, together with some sewing tools. Need help thinking of sewing tools, these posts might help...

I could do with a few of these accessories myself, especially the pattern weights. They'd be much better than my sticky tape holder!!!

  3. I use sewist as I am definitely not a seamstress but it feels like a made up word to me so I never feel that comfortable using it. Can't come up with a better one though Pam.

    Great roundup!

  5. I'm the only sewer here, but I am more than willing to my a gift for me! There are more than a few I'd like.

What a pleasant surprise to see my kit there! Someone commented on my blog with an idea for fixing my problem sewing vinyl as a result of clicking your link to the post on the kit. Thanks for that, too.

P.S. Sewer is rather horrid, so we agree on the Sewist (much more pretty!).
