Twirl Skirt...

Here is my take on the Twist and Shout Twirl Skirt from One Metre Wonders. I substituted the bias binding at the bottom, with a slightly wider strip of fabric, but not cut on the bias. I also omitted the piping. This was a very quick and easy skirt to make.

To begin with, I was unsure of my fabric choice; Hotflush by Luella Doss & Andrea Schuster for Free Spirit. I wasn't sure whether the colours would be too bright or whether the pattern would suit a small skirt. My fears were unfounded. I am very pleased with the finished skirt.

  1. This skirt looks great. What is the book like? I have seen it a few times for sale on different sites and I thought about getting a copy?

'One Metre Wonders' and 'One Yard Wonders' appear to be the same, except for measurements.
