Featuring ~ American Ships Quilt

Today's featured project is an amazing embroidered quilt that was nine years in the making - truly a labour of love.

Shirley, from Sewing by Shirley, hand embroidered every single block of her American Ships Quilt, teaching herself how to embroider with online tutorials. The quilting is machine done with outline stitching.
