Showcasing ~ Denim World Map on a Floor Cushion ~ Tutorial

I live in denim jeans. It's a rare occasion when I swap them for another garment. Hard wearing as they are, however, they don't last forever. Don't throw them out - there are so many uses they can be put to. Today's showcased tutorial is one such example - and it only requires very small scraps of different coloured denim.

Learn how to utilise old denim jeans to add a world map to a floor cushion. Tutorial by Pillar Box Blue.

Claire, from Pillar Box Blue, shows how to add a world map to an existing floor cushion, using appliqué. The detailed tutorial includes a downloadable map. Of course you can use any scrap fabrics. To make the cushion extra special, hearts have been added to various countries.

Claire's denim world map floor cushion was added to both the Denim Refashioning and the Pillows & Cushions link parties. You might like to check out the following tutorials at the Denim Refashioning linky...
