If you've never done Foundation Paper Piecing, today's showcased tutorial is for you. Or, if you're like me and get confused at the beginning of a FPP project, EVERY single time, the video tutorial will be a great refresher.
Jo, from The Crafty Nomad, shows how to do Foundation Paper Piecing with a free tree pattern and a video tutorial. This is a simple FPP pattern - just perfect for someone who is new to the technique. The video tutorial covers everything you could possibly need to know to get you started. The free tree pattern can be downloaded from the pattern page.
Thanks for featuring my post! xx
ReplyDeleteI remember when I first started seeing paper pieced projects and patterns - I couldn't figure out the concept - I just couldn't picture it in my mind. Then one of my sewy friends sat down with me and showed me the technique - THAT was when it clicked for me :) I'm a visual learner and seeing it made things make sense - videos are a very valuable resource!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sandra, written instructions for complex techniques like FPP just don't cut it with me I need to see what I am supposed to be doing. Video tutorials are a great way to teach someone like me :)
