Showcasing ~ Felt Pocket Bunny ~ Free Pattern

Today's showcased pattern is a super cute softie that's the perfect size for toddlers to carry around, and to slip into their pockets.

Learn how to make a felt Easter Bunny. Free pattern by Swoodson Says.

Stephanie, from Swoodson Says, shows how to make her Felt Pocket Bunny, using small pieces of felt. It's all easy hand sewing, so a relaxing activity to do in front of the TV. The little bunnies end up at only 1½" tall, so, as Stephanie says...
Please exercise caution if you’re playing with these around kids who still put things in their mouths. They are geared at preschoolers and up. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

These little bunnies would be a great alternative to chocolate eggs at Easter time.

I think this would be a wonderful project for a slightly older child to sew themselves. Make up a kit with all the supplies included and the felt already cut out. Pop the lot in a drawstring bag (you may have to alter the dimensions), and you have a ready made gift - so much nicer than many store bought kits.

Early last year I showcased Stephanie's Felt Pocket Kitty Cat. If you like the free bunny and cat, you can purchase the Mini Critters Pattern, with a whole crew of animal friends.

Stephanie added her felt bunny to the Softies, Dolls & Toys link party. You might like to check out the following tutorials at the Softies, Dolls & Toys linky...
