I've started another quilt. This one's been in the planning stages for quite some time, and finally, I've made a start on the sewing. I plan to incorporate nine robot blocks into a single bed sized quilt for a young boy.
When I first showed you my Crazy Patchwork, I talked about how co-ordinating fabrics to get the right combination, is not as easy as it looks. Some people are just naturally good at it, while others like me need more practise. Lots of you left comments saying that's why you buy fabric bundles, as it takes away all the hard work of figuring out the right combination of fabrics for each project.
A couple of weeks ago I showed you some crazy patchwork blocks. After sewing the crazy patchwork blocks, I came to the realisation that combining fabrics and colours is something that I need to practise. It's not as easy as I thought it would be.
