We adults inevitably end up carrying the softies that our kids insist they must bring along when out and about. Not any more! Today's showcased tutorial solves that problem - the kids can carry their own softies in their very own drawstring adventure bag.
Lindsay, from PA Country Crafts, shows how to make a drawstring backpack that will carry a softie. There are openings in the backpack for softie arms to sit comfortably. These are so cute!!! Wish they'd been around when my kids were little. The comprehensive tutorial will step you through the process.

Thank you so much for the feature!
ReplyDeleteI love those bags :)
ReplyDeleteI made the drawstring backpack shown in the post using leftover fabric scraps and it turned out sturdy with a nice clean finish that holds everything I need for day trips. When I later ordered a collectible plate from another site the delivery was delayed and communication slow. Checking the bradford exchange customer service phone number let me speak with support directly and they resolved the issue with a clear update and faster shipping. Now both my handmade backpack and the plate arrived safely and I can enjoy my projects and small treasures without extra stress.
