Embroidery, appliqué, pearl beads, seed beads and felt - all of these elements combine to make two exquisite little round baskets. The larger baskets measures 3" x 2¾", and the smaller basket 2¼" x 2¼". Today's showcased tutorial steps you through the process.
Kathleen, from KSB Crafts & Stitches, shows how to make embroidered felt baskets. The pattern includes stitching diagrams for both the embroidered branch on the large basket, and the windy swirls for the smaller basket. The branch is embellished with appliquéd leaves and pearl berries, while glass beads accent the windy swirls.

ReplyDeleteThese are really cute, they would be lovely to make for Valentine's Day, even better with a nice, dark chocolate or two inside :)
ReplyDeleteOn the opposite side, failure stickman hook is very sudden and very clean. One small timing mistake is enough to break the entire chain. There is no gradual recovery or partial success. Everything resets instantly. That sharp contrast between smooth flow and instant failure is a core emotional loop of the game.
