Showcasing ~ Patchwork Drawstring Toy Bag ~ Tutorial

Take a mini fabric panel, combine it with scraps of fabric, plus pre-loved shirts or pillowcases, and you have a pretty drawstring bag. Today's showcased tutorial will step you through the process.

Learn how to make a patchwork drawstring bag with fussy cutting and scrap fabric. Tutorial by Sum of their Stories

Julie, from Sum of their Stories, shows how to make a fully lined Patchwork Drawstring Bag, that's the perfect size for storing wooden blocks. Size it up or down to suit all manner of toys. For the larger pieces of fabric, Julie utilised parts of a pre-loved pillowcase and two shirts. You could just as easily choose fabric from your stash. This is a great project for busting some of those pieces of scrap fabric that may be accumulating in your stash.

Julie added her Patchwork Drawstring Bag to the Drawstring Bags link party. You might like to check out the following tutorials at the Drawstring Bags linky...

  1. I saw that bag the other day in the wilds of the internet - I haven't seen that kind of drawstring casing before - I'll be trying it out - I think it adds a pretty little touch because it's a bit ruffled :)

My stash isn't growing as quickly as it used to - I'm trying really hard to reduce my fabric purchases :D I still like to shop so I've been buying zippers and flex frames and charms and patterns and split rings instead - shoppers gonna shop! ;)

  5. I was feeling stuck with my research proposal and wasn’t sure how to move forward. A fellow graduate student mentioned this service, so I decided to give it a try. The proposal writing service they provided helped me see things from a fresh perspective. They worked with me to streamline my ideas, and their feedback was constructive and thorough. Thanks to their expertise, I was able to submit my proposal on time and with a much stronger foundation. It was exactly what I needed.

  6. We talked about Casino https://odds96.in/en/blog/best-time-to-play-aviator many times, but somehow never got around to trying it. At a meeting with friends, they started talking about this place again, and I finally decided to register. And so, literally from the first minutes, I got into the thick of excitement. The bonuses I received were a good start, and several successful games brought good winnings. Now this site will definitely remain on the list of favorites.
