Ornaments for the Christmas tree need not be expensive. Make your own attractive and unbreakable decorations using a few small scraps of felt.
Damjana, from Apple Green Cottage, shows how to make Christmas Star Ornaments that can either be sewn by hand or machine. The stars could also be attached as embellishments to gifts. This is a great project for someone who is new to sewing.

I'm very much into felt at the moment! Got a few things cut out and ready to sew... those stars are certainly quick and easy ones, great for kids to make as well! xx
ReplyDeleteO.M.G. the penguin with reindeer antlers and a Rudolph nose - that would make a perfect finger puppet for the kids - to tuck inside a Christmas card :D
ReplyDeleteThank you Pam,
ReplyDeletefor featuring these stars. I'm knee-deep in Christmas sewing, and these were a breeze to make! xoxo,
ReplyDeleteHandmade decorations add such a warm, personal touch to the holiday season, but crafting them definitely takes a lot of time and patience. Between managing daily responsibilities and prepping for the holidays, finding a spare moment can be incredibly tough. It really makes you appreciate smart ways to outsource other heavy tasks in life to free up your schedule. For instance, when academic or career pressure stacks up, many busy people look for specialized help and decide to hire someone to take my ged exam just to clear that major hurdle without the added stress.
