Showcasing ~ Liberty Fabric Clay Dish ~ Decoupage Tutorial

I don't know about you, but I find shallow dishes are the perfect way to hold small bits and pieces in my sewing room, with the contents constantly changing depending on my current project. Today's showcased tutorial doesn't involve any sewing, but does use up very small scraps of fabric.

Mad for Fabric shows how to make a Liberty Fabric Decoupage Dish. Of course you don't have to use Liberty fabric - any small scraps of fabric will do. The tutorial steps you through the process of covering an air dried clay dish with decoupage.

Mad for Fabric added her Five Pocket Zippered Pouch to the Home Decor link party. You might like to check out the following tutorials at the Home Decor linky...

  2. I am not sure that I could bring myself to stick precious Liberty fabric on to clay but I can see the attraction of these bowls :)
