Showcasing ~ Little Dancer Ballet Bag Tutorial

What little ballerina wouldn't want this gorgeous bag. Measuring 16" x 9", it's just the right size for carrying all the things she may need - tutu, ballet shoes, leg warmers, wrap and maybe a bottle of water.

Cheryl, from Sew Can Do, shows how to make her Little Dancer Ballet Bag. With a full length zipper across the top, it's easy to put things in and get them out, and most importantly, keeps everything safe from falling out while in transit. There's even two little pockets on the ends of the bag.

Cheryl added her ballet bag to the Bags & Totes link party. With almost 600 projects, the collection is full of ideas and inspiration for your next bag making project.

  1. I. LOVE. THAT. BAG. :)
I visited my neighbour hubby today, and while I was there, his wife and daughter came out to go to a dance recital. The little one was dolled up with hair hair up, and a touch of make-up (she's 4, lol) ... and her sweet tutu :) This bag would be so so perfect for her, if I could find ballerina fabric :D

  3. When my daughter started her recorder lessons i used to make her all kinds of special bags. Now that she is flying all over to perform and teach she can buy special commercial bags , that are much better than mine ,,, but i hope she remembers those i made for her years ago ,, mirjam

  4. I really love this! I think I'm going to have to make one each for the girls, and I think they could be perfect Christmas presents. Pinning it now for when I have a chance to get them made, thank you!
