Threading Your Way ~ Features...

This week's features - (all have been Pinned)...

A unique and original project, added to the Softies, Dolls & Toys link party. I can vouch for the scooter buddy being a hit. My Little Mister is using his scooter buddy to transport his Ninja turtles.

Scooter Buddy Tutorial by Nat, from Sew Outnumbered

A comprehensive and easy to follow tutorial, added to the Fabric Baskets link party. There's no such thing as too many fabric baskets.

Some absolutely adorable softies, made with a pattern in a craft book, added to the Softies, Dolls & Toys link party. This reminds me I have lots of unused craft books sitting on my shelves.

Woodland Bunnies by Kristy, from Hopeful Threads

A great way to machine sew buttonholes if you can only sew a straight stitch, added to the Sewing Tips & Techniques link party. This technique is totally new to me...

A fabulous outfit, added to both the Women's Pants and the Women's Tops link parties. On Shirley's recommendation, I've purchased a pattern to make jeans, but I haven't been game to try it yet...

Jamie Jeans & New Look 6027 by Shirley, Sewing by Shirley

Another great tutorial, added to the Sewing Tips & Techniques link party. I didn't know you could buy tape with snaps already attached...

An easy solution to making small spaghetti straps, added to the Dolls' Clothes link party...

Spaghetti Straps for AG (Carpatina) Summer Dress by Joy, from Joy's Jots, Shots & Whatnots

And an adorable dress, added to the Dresses for Girls link party. The pockets, piping and large orange buttons make this dress...

The Fathers Day Dress by Jenya, from While she was sleeping

  2. Thanks for the feature Pam! I've never seen a single stitch buttonhole method. Very interesting. Glad I was introduced to Liz's 'Grow Sewgrow' blog as well.

  3. Thank you for featuring one of my tutorials Pam. I'm loving that little girls dress - any clothing with piping makes my heart sing. I only wish my sewing was accurate enough to use it. Practice, practice, practice.

  5. Inspiration strikes! I've made fabric baskets before, but it had never occurred to me to add a 3D applique as an embellishment - that is COOL! It gives me an idea for a project I've been mulling over in my mind :D
